What the zombie scene is

The scene is a short love story with a hard turn in the middle.

It opens in a dim kitchen. One person is crying and holding a phone. They cannot bring themselves to hurt the other person, so they lower it and open their arms.

The partner comes closer with grey skin and clouded eyes, then lunges forward.

The picture cuts. The same two people are healthy, laughing, and holding each other in a warm field at sunset.

That order matters. The survivor and the partner who turns are different people. A single portrait cannot play both roles.
